He also shows "Country unexplored" [now Namibia] including Walvisch [Walvis] Bay, Great Namaqualand, "South Zahara or Kalagarree [Kalahari] Desert", Kaffraria, Victoria, Natal, Delagoa Bay, Inhambane and the country of the "Matabeles". Various routes are indicated in red. The map has a graticule border., The full inscription on the map reads "South Africa, by Jas. Wyld, geographer to the Queen and to H.R.H.
