Kirstenbosch building section for the proposed new Centre for Home Gardening, at the North Gate, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, Rhodes Drive, Newlands, Cape Town, South Africa. This drawing formed the third of a series of posters submitted as a competition entry to SANBI. This was the winning entry. The initial proposal was for a green roof building, sunken into the embankment, so as to allow optimal mountain views unobstructed by buildings. However due to budget constraints, the Centre form home gardening was redesigned to suit a more conventional construction methodology., Scale 1:25 (orginal drawing for competition entry)
