Description: Nine months of intensive study after his ordinary school hours ended for a 10-year-old Moslem boy of Elsies River, Dien Mukkaddam, today, when he completed reading all the 30 suras (chapters) of the Koran. Dien, a pupil of Sheik Amien at Elsie's River, is in Standard 4 at St. Augustine's School, Parow. He will now set out to memorise the Koran, chapter by chapter.
