Sindiswa Mkonto and Nomonde Calata, widows of two of the Cradock Four victims, Cradock, 1997. The Cradock Four were a group of four political activists from Cradock who disappeared in 1985 during a trip to Port Elizabeth. Their mutilated bodies were found a week later. In January 1997, six members of the Port Elizabeth security police applied for amnesty for the killing of the Cradock Four. It was refused.

Themes include: the controversy regarding his burial; the Pan Africanist Congress (PAC); reflections on his funeral; his life on Robben Island; Sobukwe as a father; the Sharpeville Massacre and his work at the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) .
