In 1936 Donald Bain staged a Bushmen display at the Empire Exhibition in Johannesburg. Bain trucked 77 participating Bushmen to Johannesburg. Following the success of "Bain's Bushmen" he trucked them down to Cape Town for another performance. This image was taken en route to Johannesburg. Participants included |Una Rooi and members of the |Khasi-Kassie family.
