Ridge's garage and the main street of the mining town of Chunya on the Lupa goldfields. Leonard Mwaisumo spent two months working as a clerk in Chunya before working for the Wilsons. Monica and Godfrey Wilson did a month of fieldwork there. Photograph taken in June 1937 by Godfrey Wilson as a lone anthropologist during his first five months of fieldwork (August-December 1934)
